Contact: AWC online learning

Many people who are experiencing homelessness are living in their vehicles. Homelessness can be isolating, and the benefits of community and relationships can be life-transforming. A safe parking program is an inexpensive, easy-to-start response that reduces harm and allows for community building. • Discover how safe parking builds community both within the parking lot and within the neighborhood
  • Explore lessons learned and best practices for starting and maintaining a safe parking program that benefits the parking guest, the host, the neighborhood, and the community – especially during COVID-19
