Following OPMA & PRA during the COVID-19 pandemic

Contact: AWC online learning

The COVID-19 outbreak has forced cities and towns across Washington to reconsider how they follow the rules and requirements of the Open Public Meeting Act (OPMA) and the Public Records Act (PRA). Even during a pandemic, it is critical that local governments remain accessible and open to the public they serve. During this informative, one-hour webinar, attendees will:

  • Learn about temporary rules and guidance adjusting OPMA and PRA requirements.
  • Explore modern methods for maintaining open lines of communication with the public.
  • Interact with OPMA and PRA experts from the Attorney General's Office and MRSC.

This webinar is for elected officials, city administrators/managers, clerks and city attorneys.

Recorded: May 1, 2020
