Governor Inslee extends Transportation Improvement Program annual update deadlines

On June 30, Gov. Inslee issued Proclamation 20-61, extending the deadline to provide annual updates for Transportation Improvement Plans until July 30, 2020.

On June 30, Gov. Inslee issued Proclamation 20-61, extending the deadline to provide annual updates for Transportation Improvement Plans until July 30, 2020.

City Transportation Improvement Plan annual reports must review the work accomplished under the program and determine current city transportation needs. Based on the findings of the report, the city legislative body must hold public hearings to adopt a revised transportation program for the upcoming year.

This extension comes at a time when cities are facing significant staffing shortages and unprecedented revenue shortfalls. To view the official extension, click here.
