The AWC Salary and Benefit Survey is published and owned by the Association of Washington Cities (AWC). Your access to the AWC Survey Reporting Tool and access to its published materials through the website is conditional upon your acceptance and compliance with the terms, conditions, notices, and disclaimers contained in this document ("User Agreement").

Your acceptance of these terms and conditions and continued use of the AWC Salary and Benefit Survey Reporting Tool and its content constitutes an affirmative acknowledgment and agreement by you that you will be bound by these conditions set out below.

Refund policy and payment information

The payment is fully earned once the AWC Salary and Benefit Survey is accessed by you and/or a member of your organization. We do not give refunds.

Access terms and conditions

Access to the Reporting Tool is limited to individuals within an entity who solely represent the interests of management, or, to those who have purchased access. Annual survey purchasers and qualified member subscribers are entitled to receive online access to the AWC Salary and Benefit Survey until the next edition of the Survey is published, typically available in July of each year.

AWC members and public entities participating in the survey will have access to the survey data according to their membership type and level. Access to the Reporting Tool is provided as a member benefit to AWC member cities and towns. During a trial period (through July 1, 2025) survey data is also provided through the Reporting Tool to any public entity that participated in the survey. It is available to other members on a fee basis, as provided by the AWC Salary and Benefit Survey fee schedule.

Midyear purchases are not prorated.

Username and password

Once you or your organization has purchased access to the AWC Salary and Benefit Survey, you will receive associated permissions and information to access the data.

You agree not to share or disclose your username and password, or any username and password registered to any person or organization, without the express permission of AWC. Each username and password may only be disclosed to a single person for their individual use.

You agree to notify AWC immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your username and password or any username and password registered to your account or change in your status as solely representing the interests of management.

Accuracy of information and disclaimer of warranties

All material published in the AWC Salary and Benefit Survey is provided in good faith. This research was carried out by means of an electronic questionnaire from sources reported by the participating entities and supplemented with data from other sources. The results are provided as generic comparative information only and is not audited.

Your use of or reliance on the information supplied by the AWC Salary and Benefit Survey is at your sole risk.

Access to the AWC Salary and Benefit Survey is provided on an 'as available' basis. AWC does not make any representation or warranty that (i) any material published in the survey will be reliable, accurate, or complete (nor does AWC or its service providers accept any responsibility arising in any way for errors in, or omissions from that material); or (ii) your access to the survey website will be uninterrupted, timely or secure. AWC will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising out of or relating to use of this information or the website unavailability due to technical issues beyond our control.

Your non-member subscriber access to the AWC Salary and Benefit Survey and access to its published material through the website is conditional upon your acceptance and compliance with the terms, conditions, notices, and disclaimers contained in this document ("User Agreement").

Your acceptance of these terms and conditions and continued use of the AWC Salary and Benefit Survey and its website constitutes an affirmative acknowledgment and agreement by you that you will be bound by these conditions set out below.

Nonmember paid subscribers to the AWC Salary and Benefit Survey are entitled to receive limited access to the Reporting Tool, which expires July 1, regardless of the time between your first access and when the next survey is released. AWC reserves the right to limit various levels of access to the Reporting Tool to entities and individuals who solely represent the interests of management. Full access to the Reporting Tool is provided as a member benefit to AWC members and is not available to nonmembers. Nonmember subscribers will have limited access to the Reporting Tool as provided by the salary survey fee schedule.

Each purchase made will be limited to one login per individual. Allowing more than one individual to use your login is prohibited.
